StoneCare4u Essential Thermal Brick and Masonry Cream (25 Litre) is formulated with synthetic resins that seal and protect brick surfaces. It is a high-performance deeply-penetrating masonry cream that offers excellent water repellency. Above all, it forms a strong barrier against damp penetration lasting up to 20 years. Masonry cream is far more effective and lasts much longer than the waterproof paints and waterproof coatings that are typically available in DIY stores. Ideally suited for application to brickwork, stonework and most forms of unprotected masonry, it also retains the original “dry” appearance of the substrate.

StoneCare4u Essential Thermal Brick and Masonry Cream (25 Litre) provides long lasting protection from water penetration and the spread of damp in masonry and brickwork. It does this by filling the porous voids within the substrate without blocking them. Importantly, this means that the surface can still ‘breathe’ and release any trapped moisture. Providing an effective barrier to flooding as part of an existing flood protection system, this easy to apply formula can also certainly produce energy savings via increased thermal efficiency of the property.

Older properties particularly can suffer from penetrating damp. For example, this can be expensive to fix especially if it is left too long without being addressed. StoneCare4u Essential Thermal Brick and Masonry Cream (25 Litre) is specially formulated to help prevent penetrating damp on unpainted brickwork and masonry.

HOW TO APPLY:

  1. Importantly, remove any loose debris from the work surface before you start and ensure you have adequate personal protection, i.e gloves, suitable protective eye-wear, face mask  & clothing.
  2. Further, we recommend you perform a small test application on-site in an inconspicuous area prior to use. This will indicate the suitability and effectiveness of the product for your surface.
  3. Above all, please make sure that before application, the surface must be completely clean and dry. Application methods include a low-pressure sprayer, roller or natural fibre brushes.
  4. Apply the cream generously. Normally one coat is needed to ensure complete coverage. Moreover, it may be necessary to apply a second coat on more porous substrates. Do not dilute the product. Typically, you can expect the surface to be dry after 30-90 minutes. However, make sure you apply it when rain is not forecast for the next 24 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: StoneCare4u Essential Thermal Brick and Masonry Cream (25 Litre) has been formulated to be colourless once cured. When it is applied to some substrates slight darkening may occur – always perform a test first. Surfaces which are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.
