PREPARATION:
Ensure the surface is gently but thoroughly cleaned and any loose stones are swept off before any application of StoneCare4u ESSENTIAL BLACK TARMAC SEALER (25 Litre). A pre-treatment with ESSENTIAL MOSS REMOVER will be necessary 4 to 5 days prior to applying the sealer if green growths such as algae and moss are present. Importantly, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing, for a smooth and uninterrupted application process!
HOW TO APPLY:
- Ensure you have adequate personal protection, i.e gloves, mask, suitable protective eye-wear & clothing before you start work.
- Firstly, make sure the surface is completely clean and has been dry for 1 to 2 days at least. Use a smaller brush or roller to carefully apply StoneCare4u Essential Black Tarmac Sealer (25 Litre) to the edges or borders and fine lines to achieve a tidy finish. For larger areas, apply generously and evenly using a good quality floor roller. Do not dilute. Leave to dry for 45 to 60 mins.
- Secondly, repeat the process of applying StoneCare4u Essential Black Tarmac Sealer (25 Litre) in the opposite direction for even colour distribution. Before driving or parking cars on the surface, please allow 24 hours after the application. Your tarmac will be suitable for light foot traffic after 1-2 hours.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If rain is forecast for up to 4 hours after application, do not apply StoneCare4u Essential Black Tarmac Sealer (25 Litre). Wait for a better time. Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Sensitive surfaces which are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.
